* Nutritional precautions taken for client who are immunocompromised.

        Clients who are immunocompromised more prone to different types

        of infections due to weak immune system.

        Safe nutritional practices help to avoid food born diseases and proper

        maintainance of nutritional status which includes

          * Follow hygienic practices during cleaning,cooking and eating

             food items.

          * Avoid eating raw or undercooked food items which include

                           * Raw vegetables and fruits.

                           * Raw honey.

                           * Raw fish items (sushi)

                           * Raw eggs and milk products.

          * Prepare a balanced diet which include all nutrients required for normal functing

             of the body which include protein,carbohydrate,unsaturated fats,vitamins and

             minerals.

          * Be careful about food items which allergic to the client and avoid it during the

            preparation of meal.

          * Promote patient to eat easy to swallow foods to reduce risk of nausea or vomiting.
