Answer #1

Cholinomimetic Agents for Alzheimer's disease treatment are galantamine and donepezil, it increases the action of dependent dopamine release. these both are acetylcholinesterase inhibitors. these components improve the learning, memory of attention ability. these drugs alter the catecholamine release and act in cognitive symptoms of dementia.
cholinergic hypothesis dysfunction of acetylcholine contains neurons in the brain it influences an increase cholinergic hypothesis of AD to make biochemical and histopathological changes of neurotransmitter markers in brains. Deficient in excitatory amino acids (EAA)neurotransmission have an important role in the cholinergic system in the modulator of EAA neurotransmission. these components delay the symptoms of AD and make the progressive nature of the disease.
AChE inhibitors improve cognitive, behavior and ADL and AD functions. It improves the underlying cholinergic system deficit in AD, drugs to treat AD are galantamine, rivastigmine, and donepezil.
Galantamine prevents the breakdown of acetylcholine, it treats mild to moderate Alzheimers and dementia. The recommended dose of this drug is 4mg PO q12 h.
Rivastigmine is cholinesterase inhibitor to treat mild to moderate AD and Parkinson's, recommended dose is 1.5mg POq12h
Donepezil treats mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease, it inhibits the AChE, the enzyme degrades the acetylcholine after release from presynapse and increases the availability of acetylcholine in cholinergic synapse. the recommended dose is 5-10mg PO HIS
