Answer #1

The best time to teach an infant is when the infant is awake from sleep ,with the parents especially the mother. The continuity of feeding ,initiation ,sucking reflex, etc., can be taught when the infant is breast fed.The taste of food can be taught when the infant 8s on weaning period.

The toddlers can be taught during their play time.

The preschoolers can be taught by giving some activities

The school age children can be taught before the time of doing any procedure to participate in it .Teaching them earlier can trigger fear some times also lead to lack of participation in case of any procedure. So they have to be comforted and explained during that period or procedure when it is done

The teens have a good understanding power they can be taught mostly at the time of admission to gain cooperation in the treatment.
