Available: Atropine 1mg/ml

1mg = 1000mcg

x= 600mcg

x= 600/1000 = 0.6ml

4) 0.75ml

Explaination:

Order: Cefazolin 250mg IM every 8 hrly

Vial contains 1 gm powder so dilute ia with 2.5 ml means provides 3ml ( 333mg/ml)

1ml = 333 mg

x= 250mg

x= 250/333 = 0.75ml

5) 33.33gtts/min

Explaination:

Order: 500ml NS to Infuse over 5 hrs using labelled 20gtts/min

5hrs = 5×60 = 300 mins

ml/min= 500/300 × 20= 33.33gtts/min
