at work: noisy environment in addition to hearing impairment

2. justin does lipreading and use keyword signing

3. communication resources may be

  • amplification devices such as hearing aids
  • cochlear implant if hearing aids become ineffective
  • an amplified telephone, if it is necessary, for the incoming voice
  • Try assistive devices to improve speech reception for the TV and radio
  • Use the captions/text version on TV, DVDs, online videos and some cinema and theatre, as provided.

  • speak with Head up with justin
  • keep Eyes on your his  face
  • Learn to monitor speed of speech and slow down
  • Pronounce words clearly
