Answer: In 1999, the Institute of medicine report had on healthcare. The report consist that to err is Human. The major ain of this was to reduce the medical errors and enhance healthcare. This was due to a large number of the deaths per year because of the medical error. So, it was necessary to prevent the deaths by finding the major cause of it. The medical errors not only has it adverse effects but also cause death.

This report was widely accepted and the focus was to improve the healthcare system, quality care provided to the patients by reducing the medical errors. But there were limited objectives assessment. The impact on the healthcare increases as it increases more concern in the healthcare system. The use of advance technology and informatics are being used to provide quality care. Minimizing the medical errors and bringing up the positive outcomes.
