Sol: Internal validity refers to the extent to which the study can be said to be conducted correctly. In this case, the results would be accurate if the sample population is a good measure of the total older population. Even if the sample size is high and the subjects are selected randomly, the age disparity is very high among the participants and a cause of lack of internal validity to the study.

Also, the output for the sample from one geographic location cannot be mapped to the general population of all older adults, so there is lack of external validity too.
