Answer #1

Mylanta is a combination of aluminium hydroxise and magnesium hydroxide. Used as antacid.

prevpac is combination of lanasoprazole 30 mg, amoxicillin 1 gm, clarithromycin 500 mg used to treat ulcers caused bt H. Pylori

nurse should respond by saying that there is already antacid action of prevpac so there is no need of taking mylanta. Also the basic cause of andominal pain is duodenal ulcer for which prevpac is the drug that will indirectly relieve abdominal pain.
