A holistic approach nurse can teach patients to relax instead of medication. It is modern care in nursing practice. The nurse should focus on the person's mind, body and spirit for the care. Addressing patient illness and physical, mental and emotional health care social factors to be considered. Many patients receiving only limited solutions for their health problems. providing alternative methods like a holistic approach can comfort them as a whole. In nursing practice complementary and alternative medicine, massage, meditation, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, relaxation therapy considered holistic healing.
Example:
-When patients going to surgery nurse can relive their anxiety and stress by playing mild music, massage and providing relaxation therapy, etc.
-When patient met with an accident their suffering include emotional stress and spiritual distress. practice them for massage therapy like hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, aquatic therapy, meditation and educate them using vitamin and herbal supplements for improving the physical strength and relieving pain.
