Answer #1

SWOT analysis is a assessment model that measures what an organization or an individual can and cannot do, and its potential opportunities and threats. When using SWOT analysis, an organization or an individual needs to be realistic about its good and bad points. We need to keep the analysis specific by avoiding gray areas and analyzing in relation to real-life contexts.

Strengths describe what we excel at and separates it from the competition: a strong brand, loyal customer base, a strong balance sheet, unique technology and so on.

Weaknesses stop us from performing at optimum level. They are areas where the business needs to improve to remain competitive.

Opportunities refer to favorable external factors that we can use to give a competitive advantage.

Threats refer to factors that have the potential to harm.
