three main differences that distinguish primary care from specialty care are as follows:

1. Specialty care focus on a specific disease patients ,skills & organs while primary care focus on whole person---the specialty care unlike primary care it focuses on illness for e.g cancer ,aids etc whereas primary care is said to be the care which has been given in the initial stage when the patient arrives first time for e.g given over the counter the medicine.

2.primary care said to be individualized care where as specialty care said to be specialized training that means they have higher education in specialization area of medicine with higher skilled. for e.g oncologist, paediatric , cardiac specialist where as primary care doctors are general physicians .

3.primary care works on continuity while specialty care works on one point in time.
