1. Based on purpose:

Qualitative study analysis and interpret the social interactions, so it has more steps in analysis, making conclusions in analysis is difficult.

In quantitative study analysis only cause and effect , as well as testing the hypothesis. So its easy to analyze.

2. In quantitative study usually small groups are studies, that is number of population is less, so making analysis is easy.

But in qualitative study large number of participants are involved so analysis part in difficult.

3. Qualitative data collected from open ended question, interview, participants observation, field notes etc, analysis these kind of data is very difficult.

Quantitative data collected from structured interview so making analysis and conclusion is easy.

4. Quantitative data results generalizable findings so its easy to make.

Qualitative data results are less generalizable.
