Volume (mL) / time (min)X Drop Factor (gtts/mL) = Y (Flow Rate in mL/hr)

Convert 0.091 L to mL.

mcL ← mL ← L ← kL    ( x by 1,000 )

0.091 L x 1,000 = 91 mL

91 ml/ 78 min X 31 gtts/ml = 36 gtts/min
