Using of a smartphone is not allowed in the field of my employment. As it is a private organization there are some restrictions of not using a smart phone. But limited access is allowed when using smartphone during the working phase, as it interferes with health care services to people. Rather than advantages disadvantages are higher while using of smart phones. Electronics usage especially smart phones are increasing day done. During health care to patient complete avoidance of mobile should be followed. If carrying phone during working phase it should kept in silent mode to avoid unnecessary disturbances in the care. For example when suddenly phone is ringing at the time of medication administration to patient from home or any other emergency call. Then the staff is not able to concentrate on patient care lead leading to medication error, Hence many hospitals keeps a strict policy on avoidance of smartphones in the organization. To provide a qualitative and safety environment to the people less usage or complete avoidance of smart phone is important.
