What type of organizational structure is used by your place of employment? Do you believe that this is the best approach, and what changes, if any, you would make to the current structure?
In my organisation, the country is divided into 12 Circles (geographically) and each circle is divided into areas and further into Region.
Also there is a Corporate office in the country's business capital. The Chairman and Board of directors are located there.
Circles are headed by CGMs, areas by DGMs and Regions by AGMs.
CGM: Chief General Manager
DGM: Deputy General Manager
AGM: Assistant General Manager
Furthermore, in regions Branches are located all over overseen by Managers who have Probationary Officers and clerical staff under them for daily operations.
I think this is apt structure for my organisation.
