Answer #1

Answer 3: Given;

D = Dosage ordered = 65 units,

H = Dosage strength = 100 units,

Q = Quantity of unit = 5ml

Desired dosage formula = D/H X Q

= 65 units / 100 units X 5ml = 3.25ml

Therefore the required dosage is 3.25ml

Answer 4: Given;

D = Dosage ordered = 65 mcg,

H = Dosage strength = 10 mg,

Q = Quantity of unit = 30 ml

We have to convert the 65 mcg to mg; to convert mcg to mg we have to divide the value by 1000, so 65/1000 = 0.065 mg

Desired dosage formula = D/H X Q

= 0.065 mg / 10mg X 30ml

= 0.195 ml is the required dosage.
