Ingredients include 2 cups brussels sprouts chopped, 1 tablespoon olive oil, chickpeas, Humus , 8 slices whole grain bread, 1 apple thinly sliced.

Heat the oil and add the brussels sprouts. Saute until tender. Then add the chickpeas to a large bowl along with humus. Mash it and add salt and pepper according to taste. Add brussels sprouts into the chickpea salad and mix well. Now spread garlic spread on whole wheat bread. Place a spoon full of chickpea brussel mixture on bread and top it with another slice.
