KELL system :

• Kell system antigen are found in small amount on a red cell.
• This causes hemolytic disease on the newborn.
• Anti kell antigen is most significant after D antigen.

Duffy system:

• Duffy system found on chromosome 1 common on the white population.
• the antigen Fy^a and Fy^b are resistance to malaria.
• Duffy antigens also are seen in Blacks with multiple transfusions.

KIDD system:

• the antigen Jk^a and Jk^b present on chromosome 18.
• The antigen found in clusters in the red blood cell membrane.
• The antigen causes intravascular antigen reactions.

I / I system:

• Fetal RBC is rich in I antigen and lack in another I antigen.
• It is associated with atypical pneumonia.
