The main role of Susan is to process the request of release of information which is nothing but the protected health information to be released. Even a small mistakes can lead to critical troubles and  legal issues bybthe patient

Some of the ways to handle this situation and help Susan are

  • Susan has to be listened first,and the root cause for her problem to be identified
  • Identify the risk of the incident and find a solution for it
  • First rule out any underlying issues to tackle bigger problems
  • Have a pleasant appearance which can give a hope and confidence to Susannyo describe her problem
  • Make this as a priority work and complete this as early as possible
  • Give ideas which can boost her thoughts
  • Inform her to make notes to keep things in track and remember important work
  • Encourage to learn from the mistakes so that it could be avoided in the future
  • Inform to take the help of management if the problem is going to land up in serious consequences
