i am trying to write reserch proposal assignment. i want to have survey about how the health care providers can help physical, emotional, psychological...patient and family care.
topic is "End of Life Care"
for the survey..
1. what can be sampling basic information?
ex. age, gender, education.. what else do you think?
2. what do you think about survey sample size?
3. Can you explain to me why the sample size is appropriate for the study?? thank you.

1. Duration of hospital stays , duration of palliative care is also needed.

2.Always for the research project have 100 as sample size .Because it helps to clear percentage and validity of the result will be true.Minimum 30 maximum can have sample size as per the wish.

3.Sample size should be appropriate to the study.According to the topic only you choose population where you find your samples.

For end of life care.your population is individuals in end of life care .your sample can be from may be age more than 60 or individuals are in last stages of cancer.So here if your samples are individuals with last stages of cancer you can't find much people in this criteria so the sample size gets reduced.But in even level you must have 30.
