Atherosclerosis:
Atherosclerosis is a complex multicellular disease, it is a pathology for various diseases in the body system. It is a condition artery to become narrowed and harden due to the building of plaque in the artery walls. when arteries carry blood to the entire body system endothelium(lining of the artery) becomes damage due to cholesterol buildup in the artery wall. When there is excess plaque buildup, there is an accumulation of cholesterol, calcium and other substances which blood carries to other systems. when the blood flow disrupts due to blood clot it is a life-threatening condition. It blocks the artery can cause heart attack and stroke and affect the pulmonary circulation and renal circulation the patient gets symptoms like difficulty breathing, paralysis, weakness, angina, chest pain, coughing. when renal artery blocks people get loss of appetite, swelling of hands and feet and difficulty concentration.
Atherosclerosis cause no symptoms in the initial stage when the coronary artery narrowed it constrict the blood flow. Other blood vessels near to the affected artery can expand to compensation and do the work, it is called collateral circulation. so there will not be any warning signs.
