Trauma and stressor related disorders are Acute stress disorder and post traumatic stress disorder.

Post traumatic stress disorder : It is disorder is defined as it is a mental health condition it develops after any traumatic event, that event happens to life threatening or seriously injured to self or other close relatives or others and it creates intense feelings and fear and helplessness.

Diagnostic criteria of post traumatic stress disorder :

* to collect history regarding experiencing of any stressful event, and life threatening situations.

* observes the reliving the stressors by intrusive flashbacks.

* experiencing distress while exposure to same stress.

* out bursting anger.

* Uncomfortable thoughts about the events.

* inability to recall either partially or completely the happened things.

* difficulty in concentration and hyper vegilance .

* Exagarated startle response.

These are the symptoms may seen or observes during in the PTSD.

Differential diagnosis :

* Adjustment disorder.

* Dementia,

* primary depression,

* Delirium,

* general anxiety disorder,

* Personality disorder,

Treatment :

* Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors should be administered.

Therapies like :

* Cognitive behavioral therapy,

* Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing,

* Exposure and response prevention,

These are all the psychotherapy should be used in post traumatic stress disorder.

For these type of patients need rehabilitative centres to get cure from that, so day by day creating dareness, regarding the fearful event, they will get better from that disorder soon.
