HYPERTHYROIDISM;Pathophysiology it may be due to excessive stimulation of the adrenergic nervous system or excessive level of circulating TH. Hyperthyroidsm is characterized by loss of the normal regulatory control of TH secretion .Because the action of THon the body is stimulatory,hypermetabolism results,with inceased sympathetic nervous system activity.Excessive amount of TH stimulate the cardiac system and increase the number of beta-adrenergic receptors, leads to tachycardia and increased cardiac ouput. stoke volume,adrenergic responsiveness, and peripheral blood flow.Metabolism increase greatly, leading to a negative nitrogen balance, lipid depletion ,and a state of nutritionaldeficiency and weight loss.

Sign and Symptoms; losse bowel movements, heart intolerence, profused perspiration, tachycardia,and in cordination related to tremor, weight loss,hyperactivity, emotional disturbance.

Dagnostic needs for cnfirmation on the basis of the client s often striking physical appearance( enlarged neck,protruding eye balls,agitated expression)the manifestationof agitation ,restlessness, and weight loss and laboratory findings.Serum TH level usually elevated and serum cholsterol levels are usally depressed. TREATMENTS;Anti thyroid mediciation theaphy, Radiation Theraphy, And surgial management by thyroidectomy
