1. Motivation of the team members - motivation of the workers is a challenge the leaders face. The workers has to be motivated to increase the productivity by executing the plans made inthe team. The effective working strategies are planned by only the employees who are motivated
2. Executing change - Executing the change in the system is really a challenging factor for the leaders. The change cannot be accepted by everyone. The resistance to change decreases the outcome and leaders has to impose strategic plans to execute the change
3. Developing team effectiveness - The factors such as time management, setting the priorities, developing decision making skills, Developing assertive skills, positive attitude towards the working environment, developing strategies for the improvement in the outcome among the team members are the important challenges faced by a leader.
4. Development of an effective team- It is a challenging experience for the leaders to develop a team by providing proper mentoring and guidance. The effective team can develop and execute the strategies to improve the outcome.
5. Relationship with the authorities or internal stakeholders - It is a challenging experience for a leader to build a relationship with the internal stakeholders. The leader has to have good relationship in order to ensure the managerial support, financial management, to get a supply of resources such as material, money and manpower .
