ROLE OF NURSING ADMINISTRATOR IN STAFF PERFORMANCE AND MANAGEMENT AND COLLECTIVE BARGAINING :

Nurse administrators are the persons who are responsible for over all seeing of hospital health care facility services, which helps to run departments in a hospital. They work with a positions as first line managers, top level directors and they perform various roles as staff management, financial resources, business management, arranging and training of nursing staff, and coordinating health services.

As nurse administrators perform a variety of responsibilities in hospital, One of the role is staff performance, nurse administrator arranges staff to their departments of work where evaluation of their work is going to be evaluated. The staff nurses overall performance is to be evaluated and any changes are going to be done based on their skills. Based on the good performance of the staff nurse administrator have the right to promote their work area to a higher cadre, and for the fresh trainees they will first train up and allot the wards which can be easily maintained by the staff. Monthly based and yearly based performance reports are monitored by nurse administrator for the development of health care services to patients. Second role is in collective bargaining. In this collective bargaining nurse administrator participates in proper planning and prepared participation of health care settings which develops a trust communication, acceptance of work, developing positive aspects of thinking where nurse administrator utilizes their position benefit for the better health care providers and hospital organization.

NURSE ADMINISTRATORS ROLE IN HELPING NURSES TO DEVELOP PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN :

* Nurse administrator encourages nurses to expand their level of knowledge and education, limits, boundaries, services to become a professional and expert nurses in nursing field.

* Coordinate between nurses and other team members in the hospital for problem solving approaches

* Acts as a mediator among health care providers and administrative department

* Program of services which improve technical skill knowledge in clinical setting
