Life begins with breathing.Lungs plays a  vital role in the respiratory system.It taken in deoxygenated gas and gives out oxygenated gas to the body.Here comes the second system to co-work with the lungs is Cardiovascular system x (Heart )

The impure blood is carried from the heart via pulmonary artery to the lungs for purification. The impure air enters the aleveoli where the gas exchange occurs.Filtering the oxygen and sending it back to heart via pulmonary veins and distributing to the entire body.The impure air carbondioxide is exhaled out through the lungs.
