Generally the main source of the vegetarian diet are comes from the plants and it does include appropriate levels of all the essential amino acids but some foods are fully or partially deficient in some amino acids. So, to keep vegetarian healthy, it is important for him/her to eat a combination of various plant foods that can provide all the essential amino acids as well as other amino acids. This combination of different plant proteins is known as complementary proteins and the significance is to incorporate all essential amino acids in the food. Low protein food intake among vegetarian people can suffered from amino acid deficiencies which in turn will lead to deficiency of proteins in the body.
