Entertainment starts with the goals of welfare to the people and helping them to have some quality moments. But, entertainment ends when the focus changes from welfare to the attainment of the company goals that can be branding of the products, sell of products and or developing product awareness.
A line between entertainment and
marketing need to be drawn, because any content that tries to
deliver both of it, should carefully develop the message and
seamlessly combines both the dimensions so the customers get
entertained as well as right product positioning, knowledge of
products or development of interests regarding the
product. So, the content delivery should be balanced to
achieve both the objectives of entertainment and
marketing.
