You have worked at this agency for five years as an entry-level case manager and are hoping to be promoted to a senior level position. The job description for this position requires the Senior Case Manager to assist clients with finding permanent housing, clothing, counseling services, life skills development, educational opportunities and finding employment. You have set up your plan for your client and they have been following it for the last 3 weeks. How do you determine if your plan is working? What are the best ways to asses if your clients’ needs are being met? Please answer this question using research from a scholarly source.

Every plan of action whether it's related to your profession or personal life should be evaluated ocne to find out it's effectiveness and it's drawbacks . So, that necessary modifications can be done at it's earliest to make the plan more functional and efficient .

To determine the plan is working or not the following points needs to be checked :-

- rate of productivity

- satisfaction of the staffs

- time required to complete the task

- flexibility and comfort to the staffs

The best ways to assess if clients needs are being met or not is by having a meeting with the clients and asking them about their satisfaction . Encouraging them to tell the benefits and drawbacks they feel about the plan because ultimately the task will be done by the staffs only so their comfort , flexibility matters and will have direct affect on the productivity . Increased productivity will help to provide incentives and rewards to the staffs and hence promotion.
