3.Diabetic patients are at high risk of getting neuropathy in case of poorly controlled diabetes.Injury and infection can happen this onnthe foot easily if walking bare foot or having a poor foot care.

3.Some of the measures to be done daily are

  • Check or assess foot and toe daily (cut ,bruises,infection,hard skin )
  • Use luke warm water to clean the toes and feet
  • Never use hot water,hot fomentation,heaying pads especially in between toes.
  • Keep feet and toe dry
  • Can apply lotions or moisturizer but not to be applied between toes.
  • No self treatment of corn or calluses

Ans.I shoukd soak my feet in warm water.No heat water with diabetes

4.Parental nutrition refers to providing nutrition to an individual through intravenous line.This can alter the blood sugar level by increasing the blood sugar level so patient may some time need insulin simultaneously and the blood sugar to be checked periodically.

A peripheral line if the patient already has can be started with TPN.BTheut there are high chances for thromboembolus,damage to vein easily due to the concentration of the solution. The most common choice of parentral nutrition administration is by central line which can aide the administration of parentral nutrition without any inconvenience.
