1.The four basic principles of ethics in medicine are

• Principle of autonomy
• Principle of beneficence
• Principle of nonmaleficience
• Principle of Justice

The principle of autonomy generally gives the rights for an individual who is a major and un a sound mind can take decisions regarding their medical treatment. They can accept or refuse a medical treatment on the grounds of autonomy. The result of it beneficial or harmful in these types are generally held responsible by the individual itself ,In case of children the parent or the concerned guardian has the right to make decision.

Eg.,A patient adviced for a surgical intervention by a provider who is a model by profession. Here the patient can accept or refuse this intervention by taking a self decision in view of their professional career.

The principle of beneficence refers to doing the best for a patient .These types of decision can often lead to critics and legal issues.

Eg.,The model refused for the surgical intervention, but in order to save the life of the patient the doctor implementing the intervention. Later the healthcare professionals are generally subjected for liability for doing the best for patient from the patient side.

The principle of non maleficience refers to a healthcare professionals should no way cause any harm to the patient or others

Eg.,A psychotic patient asking for a opioid analgesic as part of their treatment which can cause abuse.Here the provider should be aware of that prescribing the medication can lead to abuse and definitely cause harm to self or others surrounding the patient

The principle of justice refers to being fair to all. Providing a care which is equal to all.

Eg., A provider treating patient from different diversity, culture, religion, race,ethnicity, geographical location, etc., inanimate equal manner.
