answer 1)a-desired effects decreases over time due to desensitization, of the receptors.over time receptors gets downregulated,so drugs can't act on the receptors.

answer b)cumulative adverse effects of the drugs occurs over period of time,that is seen most commonly in fat soluble drugs like digoxin,amiodarone.

answer c)the drugs with the long half life,after loading doses gives uniform action of the drugs.

answer d)these are drugs which are called "as needed" medicines.they are given for the intermittent and short term conditions.they are not given on dailybregular basis.example-drugs used in pain,anxiety or vomiting.
