Answer #1

answer-patch-transdermal,controlled medication,desired(therapeutic effect),dependence,

as patch is applied transdermally,it allows control release of the drug in the systemic circulation.it also causes tolerance when applied for long period, due to desensitization of the receptors.

cream and lotion-as they are applied locally, there is minimal systemic absorptionof the drug.so systemic effects are very less.they can also cause adverse effects at the site applied.it is also a homeopathic remedy.

as the surface area of particles in cream and lotions increases, absorption from the sites becomes faster.
