Case study 1 Rhonda works in the community as part of a team that assists people with activities of daily living and personal care tasks. As part of her role Rhonda needs to communicate service information to the people she provides care to and their significant others. Every week Rhonda assists an eighty-year-old man named Jack with his showering and grooming. Jack and his family are always muddling up his various services and becoming concerned that he is being billed incorrectly. To decrease the confusion Rhonda has arranged a small family meeting to go over the service information and address their concerns.

Answer) Rhonda must collect all the records of Jack’s services in a chronological order along with all the billing details. She must also collect the billing and services plans and information about any additional charges on any service provided. After that, she must inform the family members about the venue, date and time of the meeting in which she must present with all the background knowledge to the family members. This will make it easy for them to understand the further records and billing data which she must present after that. Finally, it must be taken under serious consideration that no confidential details must be shared.
