Answer #1

The stolen party story describes the social discrimination of people on the basis of where they were born.People born in a low class society experiences cold shoulder when they try to make their standard up to the high class social group or when trying to equalize or balance them. The nine year girl understands this at the end of the party when all other children are given presents and she was given money in place of it.The self respect , dignity ones lost cannot be restored in any way but it could have been made better by the high social group people treating all childrens equally in a birthday party. If one pertains a character in the story they could have made the party as simple as possible that provides a place for all children to enjoy and have fun irrespective of any social class.
