●Some of the qualities which can be seen in the professionals who delivers compassionate person centered care are

  • Empathy :the professionals often think being in the place of patient and serve them .At the same time they are emotionally very stable.
  • Knowledge:they have a very deep knowledge towards the disease condition and about the patient
  • They treat the patient with respect and dignity which can raise the self esteem, self confidence of the patients
  • They exhibit a great problem solving skills in handling patients
  • They are resilient
  • Aware of the patients culture

●When a person has unmet needs the following behavior can be seen

  • They often isolate themselves from others going into deep thoughts of their needs
  • They can be complaining frequently which is an indicator that something is lacking and the patient needs it.
  • They often exhibit boredom
  • In severe cases the patient can show up with anger
  • They often try to interact with others or family members who can help them to meet their needs directly or indirectly.

1.Personhood in simple refers to being a person with respect and dignity and treat the others in the same manner.

2.Tye person centered care refers to meeting the needs of patient in an individualized way or a more appropriate needed care for patients depending upon their health condition.
