1. Obtain detailed history about

  • Urinary pattern
  • Frequency
  • History of dysiria,hematuria
  • Urinary habits
  • Fever
  • Other symptoms

2.40 mg/200 per 5 ml suspension for paediatric patients.

Over dose may result adverse effects.

3. Side effects

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Abdominal cramps
  • Irritation
  • Itching

Precaution

  • Identify any allergy to drugs
  • Consult physicians if experiencing any side effects
  • Assess therapeutic responses.
  • Avoid incase of fever.

4. After the course of therapy normally 10 to 14 days
