I'd start off with listening to the woman's point of view and then try to console her. This is obviously a stressful moment for her. I would then like to counsel her about the efficacy of allopathic medicine and how its more likely to help with her condition.

This is very different from the perspective of allopathic medicine. The body can only 'heal itself' in a limited amount. We need to use drugs to heal it.

They can be supplements but not the core medicines. Besides, they do require FDA regulation as most of their effects are unknown. They can cross react with traditional medicine
