This is disease of eyes

Cause - vitamin A deficiency

Brief- in the developing countries there is inadequate immunisation and less delivery of the vitamin A to the pere school and school childrens ,Due to this deficiency of the vitamin A aur retinol there is occurence of blindness to the child and impaired the vision

WHO classification

X1A- conjunctival xerosis

X1B- Bitot spot

X2- corneal xerosis

X3A-corneal scaring with less then one third surface area

X3B - corneal scarring with more than one third surface area

Xs- corneal scarring
