Whereas classification of disease is on the basis of types, pathogen involved. The classification helps to treat the patient accordingly.
Diagnosis is performed by technicians, radiologist etc. Whereas classification of disease is done by the scientist and the researchers. Diagnosis is used to identify the presence of any kind of disease. Classification criteria involves different studies of group of people having particular disease or symptoms.
