Answer #1

Solution :

Given that ,

mean = \mu = 20.5

Using Poisson probability formula,

P(X = x) = (e-\mu * \mu x ) / x!

P(X = 30) = (e-20.5* 20.530) / 30!

= 0.0106

Probability = 0.0106

The probability of getting exactly 30 unique visitors in any one hour is 0.0106.
