I researched many nursing care facilities in my community and ii found that there are few nursing care facilities which keep patients for lone time . Some of the pros and cons are :-
Pros :-
- 24×7 open
- adequate staff with the ratio.of 1:2
- provides good healthcare services
- have specialisation
Cons :-
- shortage of space
- no single rooms available
- costly rooms
- visiting time is one a day
The rooms were small if they were single and if there was no single rooms then a big hall is present where patients are kept . The room charges are Rs 700 for single room and for the hall Rs 500. The services provided include different speciality care provided by skilled staffs. The service charges are basically Rs 1500 starting and it increases based on the need. Only one attendant allowed to be the patient . Visiting time is between 4 pm to 6pm once a day . Since the single rooms are small there is no provision of ventilation while the hall has good provision of light and ventilation . No one is allowed to cook in the rooms . The foods supplied are of good quality . The equipment of the patient and attended are of good quality . Beds are adjustable , have side rails and are automatic . The cupboards and shelves are of good quality with fine edges . The rooms are air conditioned and neat and clean . The rooms are cleaned twice a day . No personal equipments are allowed other than one phone .
