Answer: The vitamins and minerals that are concern in a teens's diet which may cause deficiency such as lack of calcium and protein. These are essential because it provides strength to the bone as well as protein helps in growth and development. The RDA for Elizabeth will be low because elimination of diary products and meat. The RDA value of calcium is 1000mg. Due to deficiency of calcium, bone weakness, osteoporosis could occur. Lack of protein leads to decrease in muscles development.
