Answer: Infertility is one of the major problem and the health issues usually faced by the people. This could be due to various reasons. There are many others options for the treatment as well as for conceiving. Some of the other options are:

  • IUI ( Intrauterine insemination)
  • IVF ( In vitro fertilization)
  • Treatment ( Hormonal therapy)

The nurse can assists the couple to understand the need of some of the test and diagnosis. The nurse can explain about the different options available for the treatment as well as having a child. The nurse should reduce the disparities as well as stress among the couples.

The nurse need to intervene about the specific consideration such as test of male and female. The fertility test includes for the woman such as follicles testing, age of patients, sperm analysis of male etc. The nurse should also intervene about the lifestyle of couple such as eating habits, smoking, alcohol consumption etc.
