Interpersonal relationships between the team members in any profession is very important. It will help the people or members of the team to work in a better coordination and will help them to achieve their goal in a better way.

A team of a health profession includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapist, pharmacist, occupational therapist, social worker etc.where they all will come together as a unit to solve a client's problems. It is very important and necessity to have a good relationship and understanding among the team members for a better and smooth result. There are various actions of various people in the group which will either make the group or break the group, also their actions count in the improvement of the patients help by providing proper care and treatment. Likewise a nursing action also contributes in the same.

There are various nursing action that counts in the building of interpersonal relationship one of such action is proper communication among the group members. It is very important for the group members of the healthcare team to have a proper and clear communication between eachother in order to plan the care according to the patients need. Also the nurse is a person who is responsible to implement the care on the patient and is also a person who acts as a source of communication between the patient and the health care team. Hence she should be very careful and should be focused on the discussion among the team members. She should be alert with what her team members have decided on the type of treatment to be provided or the diagnosis of the patient. If the members are discussing about the treatment and care she should be the one to speak for the patient as well by considering the patient's point of view and by empathising the patient. She should be very clear and true to the team members as well as the patient about the information related to the particular patient. She should also see if the patient is getting proper care related to the condition or if his care is neglected.

This will have a huge impact on the culture of the unit or the organisation by various ways:

- the staff members will be alert and will imply patients right while discussing about the treatment as there will be someone to talk for the patient.

- they will be comfortable with the proper communication among themselves.

- all the procedures and the process will be easily solved and done.

- if a team member will do some kind of mistake then prior discussion with the health care team members will help him to realise it before implementing on the patient.

- communication will help the team members know and understand about their patient properly.

- the team will be having least problems regarding the legal and ethical issues of the patient.
