The food is mainly divided into two categories namely vegetarian and non vegetarian diet.In this the vegetarian diet is further classified into different types they are

  • The diet which completely avoids non vegetarian foods and dairy products called as vegan diet.It is only plan based diet.The protein quality is minimal but there is risk for vitamin B12 deficiency .The other deficiency which can be found are iron deficiency, hypocalcemia and low zinc
  • The diet which allows only fish is called as pescatarian diet.The levrlmof magnesium are high in sea foods .Vitamin B12 supplements can be consumed with iron supplements
  • The diet which includes only egg and dairy products in a vegetarian diet .This is called as lacto -ova vegetarian diet. The protein is minimal in quantity .protein deficiency can be seen if eggs is taken in a lesser quantity
  • Diet which excludes meat products are called as lacto vegetarian diet. Protein deficiency, iron,vitamin deficiency are common
  • Diet which excludes milk products,meat but allows egg are called as ovo-vegetarian diet.Calcoum deficiency can be noted
  • Flexitarian:These diet includes a smallest quantity of non vegetarian foods occasionally ,This balances most of the nutrients
  • Began diet is form of diet which includes the honey in their diet
  • A vegetarian diet followed before 6pm os called as vegan before 6pm
  • A diet which allows non veg excluding meat products are called as pollotarian diet .This is adequate in protein in the dirt with no nutritional deficiency.
