1.AST

  • Collect the medical history of the patient.
  • Advise the client about the need for dietary modifications due to abnormal ALT tests.
  • Provide a a high-calorie,high protein,moderate-fat diet with a high fluid intake .
  • Encourage the patient tp avoid foods containing complex carbohydrates.

2 Abnormal faecalysis test

  • Advise the patient to wash hands thoroughly after the procedure.
  • Explain to the patient about the dietary restriction based on the disease condition identified.
  • Advise the patient to for routine screening to rule out colon cancers.

  • Explain to the patient,that if it comes positive it means the patient is having an infection.
  • Assess for signs of fluid volume deficit.
  • Assess for signs of DVT/Thrombophlebitis.
  • Advise the patient to increase fluids.
