a) improved health outcomes meaning healthy lifestyle
b) effective health services
c) healthier environment
d) reduction in morbidity, mortality and increased life expectancy and
e) improved quality of life.
Health promotion programs have a greater importance in the development of public health which are influenced by various physical, social and environmental factors. These programs gives immediate effects through individual health education, skills development and motivating them and also by changing their health actions and behavior.
