ETHICS=It is the study of philosophical ideals of right or wrong behavior, it means a set of law or principles that govern the right conduct or behavior.

ROLE OF ETHICS IN PROFESSIONAL NURSING =

Direct care provider: The nurse assist the client ti regain health through healing  

Protector and client advocate :the nurse help msintain a self environment for patient and take steps to prevent injury.

Case manager:the nurse coordinates the activities of the other health care provider in collaboration with the the direct care providers.

Nurse also work as a nurse educator, nurse researcher, nurse administrators. Etc.

* Beneficence : it is an action that is done for the benefit of others we

* Non-malficence : avoidance of harm

* Fidelity : the quality of being faithful to one's commitments

* Justice : to treat equal or fairly

* Veracity : the equality of being truthful or honest

* Confidentiality : keep the patient information private and maintain privacy

* Autonomy : self determination

*Accountability : answerable for one's own question.

Example:Respect for anothers property.

Refraining from violence against another.

Treating others with civility.
