Explain why an appeal can only be taken from a court of record.
An appeal can only be taken from a court of record because in appeal a review of the trial court's decision is done and no witness or evidences are presented in appeal. only the fact presented in the trial court are accepted and reviewed. Appeal courts do work on decisions that was taken at trial court and appeal court decisions turn on the records at trial court decisions
